Dr Kevin Keane DVM
Dr. Kevin Keane DVM, is a renowned equine veterinarian and accomplished eventing rider based in Chester County, Pennsylvania. A 1979 graduate of the University of Illinois, he has specialized in equine sports medicine since 1982, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries in sport horses. Dr. Keane has served as team veterinarian for the U.S. Show Jumping Team and multiple national eventing teams. Founder of Sports Medicine Associates of Chester County, he combines his veterinary expertise with a successful riding career, including competing at Rolex Kentucky CCI5*-L in 2014. His resilience, exemplified by his recovery from a severe leg injury in 2018, continues to inspire the equestrian community.
Dan Martzall
Dan, a Lancaster County native, graduated from Millersville University in 2003 before attending Kentucky Horseshoeing School. Inspired by observing farriers while working on farms during college, he pursued a career in farriery, earning his American Farriers Association certification in 2004 after apprenticing with Steve Teichman and Todd Meister. Based in Chester County, Dan specializes in shoeing horses across disciplines, including eventing, dressage, hunters, and jumpers, with clients competing in top events like Kentucky Land Rover, Fair Hill International, Badminton, and Burghley Horse Trials. Emma Ford
Emma barely needs introduction. Head Groom for Olympian Phillip Dutton for over a decade, Emma oversaw his elite horses in 4 Olympics, 4 World Equestrian Games and 2 Pan American games, in addition to countless horse trials, events and three-day events. During her tenure there she taught numerous top riders the ways of horse management, care, and devotion to the sport and the horses. Emma grew up in North Devon England and was brought up in the hunt field with her dad as Master of the Foxhounds. Emma was raised surrounded by horses. She grew up in the Pony Club system, receiving her “B” designation before going on to college to get her Baccalaureate in Science at the University of Wales. Tony Sandoval
Tony Sandoval, known as "Coach Sando," is a Lexington, Kentucky-based strength and conditioning coach specializing in equestrian athletes. With over 15 years of experience, he transitioned from a Division 1 collegiate strength and conditioning background to focus exclusively on riders after successfully rehabilitating an injured equestrian in 2016. Through his venture, Coach Sando Training, he offers tailored fitness programs designed to enhance riders' physical and mental skills, aiming to improve their connection with horses and overall performance in equestrian sports. Chris Barnard
Chris Barnard has been involved with horses since leaving school, earning his BHSAI at Captain Mark Phillips' Gleneagles establishment in Scotland. After managing Coole Park Farm in New York, he rode professionally and managed client operations before discovering his passion for course design. Chris became an accredited USEF “r” rated course designer in 2009, later achieving his “R” status after years of dedication and mentorship from top international designers. Nicholas Fyffe
Nicholas Fyffe, an international Grand Prix competitor and dual citizen of Australia and the United States, began his career in Three-Day Eventing before focusing on dressage, training under top international riders in Germany. He contributed to Australia’s gold medal at the 2007 Tri-Nations Cup and earned team and individual bronze at the 2018 CDIO3* Nations Cup. Nicholas has developed six horses to Grand Prix, including the PRE stallion Fiero HGF, and is a sought-after FEI trainer and coach, producing riders to NAJYRC Gold Medals, US National Titles, and CDI Grand Prix wins. Peter Wylde
Peter Wylde is an accomplished American show jumper and Olympic gold medalist. Beginning his career at Young Entry Stable, he won the Maclay National Equitation Championship in 1982 and later the Cacchione Cup in 1986 while at Tufts University. Turning professional in 1988, Wylde earned team and individual silver at the 1999 Pan American Games, individual bronze at the 2002 World Equestrian Games, and team gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics with Fein Cera. After years competing and training in Europe, he returned to the U.S. in 2012, focusing on coaching and has become a premier coach of both show jump riders and eventers alike.
